So now I have $465, 9221 servings of the 22,740, and I've put in an obscene number of hours into this project. Also I have found that I get a better price buying 50lb bags then I do buying the #10 cans. So instead of the Colton trip I might go to winco instead, and see if I can get a better price. And thanks to the scouts who have helped put in 45 hours helping to collect donations.

Today I wrote letters and started delivering them, so be expecting a letter through the mail or for me to deliver one to you depending on where you live (or if my mom knows where you live).

This week I'm going to try and get my papers straightened out at headquaters and donation requests out, so people be expecting a letter, email or phone call. I'll update you guys again when I have more done.

Project Approved

Today I got my Eagle Project approved! I went right after church to brother Hope and he looked over it and signed it off.

I have almost all the papers filled out, I need one more signature for the project to be approved, and then I can start working on it. If I do get it signed off I am going to be sending out letters, phone calls, and e-mails to family and friends requesting donations and help. I am planning to have all letters and e-mails sent out by Valentines Day.

Eagle Idea

For my eagle project I'm going to gather canned food to give to orphans in Mexico. I'm trying to get 180 #10 cans of beans, 180 #10 cans of rice, and 60 #10 cans of powdered milk and whatever other donations i can get. And if I have to buy it all myself from the colton cannery it will be $1250. So any donations (cash or cans) is much appreciated.
